Teach Yourself to Play Electronic Keyboard ReviewIf you have learned or studied some music theory then this book is OK. If you haven't you might get lost in the theory as the book "presumes" that you know some theory. The lesson plans are good and I believe that by the time you get all the way through the book you would know how to play keyboard. I am taking lessons from a piano teacher as well as using this book, and I have some music theory training. If theory is completely new to you then I would suggest a keyboard book in the "For Dummies" line; or find someone who can explain basic theory to you. It does help to have some theory knowledge as it helps with rhythm & tempo in your playing.Teach Yourself to Play Electronic Keyboard Overview
