Yamaha Christmas Ensembles: Conductor's Score/Piano Accompaniment (Yamaha Band Method) ReviewThe Yamaha method books have been on the market for some time, but I find them to be quite good, especially this collection of Christmas songs in three parts. This is a nice collection of tunes, which includes the usual favorites ( Silent Night, Hark The Herald Angels Sing ), as well as some rarely played but great melodies ( Lo, How A Rose and In The Bleak Mid Winter ). The flexible scoring makes them easy to use as duets, trios, or with mixed ensembles of various instrumentation, which I tend to have in my teaching situation. The print quality is excellent, making them easy to read.
