The Best of Little Richard (Piano/Vocal/Guitar) ReviewA small portion of his hitlist is found here - but they are the biggest!Little Richard enjoyed 46 global hit records - and it's a shame that records like He's Not Just A Soldier (1961), I Don't Know What You've Got (1965), Freedom Blues (1970), Great Gosh A-Mighty (1986), etc., are not mixed in. But one can't say that this book is short on Classics.
It's important to note that this book uses different versions (lyrically) than what we hear on (Little Richard) records. Incredibly, it appears that the TOM JONES version of "LOng Tall Sally" and the PAT BOONE version of "Tutti Frutti", is contained herein!
Still, I hope that this *Songbook* is a hit for Richard...and begets, a Volume Two -with all of the above-named, lesser-known, LR Classics!.
