Waltz of the Asparagus People: The Further Adventures of Piano Girl ReviewRobin has done it again!
If you've read Piano Girl you already know you need to buy this book.
If you haven't, are you ever in for a treat.
The author has been a professional "cocktail pianist" for many years.
Thanks to her wicked sense of humor and undeniable talent for telling a good story she has turned her experiences
into another laugh out loud hit.
Warning, do NOT read this book while drinking. Doing so could cause great discomfort when your attempts to
swallow a big gulp of soda collide with one of many burst out laughing passages in this book and the soda instead comes shooting out of your nose.
You don't have to be a fan of the piano to appreciate the adventures and experiences Robin shares with us.
The cast of characters and the crazy situations could stand by themselves. However the piano does play a central role because it's from her perch on the piano bench that Robin gets to watch in amazement as life unfolds in all it's gloriously zany ways right before her eyes, usually with her plunked down right in the middle of it.
If you've read Piano Girl, you'll want this book. If you haven't, start with this one and I'll bet you'll want to read the other one:-)
