Play Piano with Coldplay (Piano/Vocal/Guitar Artist Songbook) ReviewI'll say this right up front to you. If you are not a very good piano player then this book is not for you. If you can play good, have some training or can play by ear (like myself) -- AND you are a Coldplay fan... you will fall in love with this book.
I've been a Coldplay fan since I first heard Clock almost 6 years ago and have never stopped listening to them. I couldn't believe this when I saw this and I'm honestly so pleased it already reached my expectations.
The backing tracks are dead on. If you can play the Coldplay songs already then you will not have to go through the book and can just jump right into playing with the CD.
I honestly felt like I was playing with Coldplay which is a dream come true. If just for that, this book was worth my 13 dollars. I would pay 13 dollars to just play clocks, but no, they give you six of Coldplay's best songs from ROBTTH, which is Coldplay's best album.
Seriously, if you are good at piano or can learn, then I recommend this 100% to you.
I also want to say that I like not having vocals because I like to sing with the backing track anyway. :)
Negatives:
For someone who has listed to these songs 100 times over, I can say that some of the piano parts that they play aren't 100% correct but it doesn't matter because when you play, you can do whatever you want.
