Lyric Preludes In Romantic Style - 24 Short Piano Pieces In All Keys Book & CD ReviewI've had this book for probably about sixteen or seventeen years or so and I still sometimes get it out and play it. The melodies are beautiful and I think they give young pianists a great opportunity to increase their skills in two ways. First, with the pieces being in all keys, students are exposed to playing in keys that they probably don't play in all that often. The songs are also presented in such a way that its easy for the student to interpret them. I felt like each song had a distinct mood, and each song is also presented with a short commentary that I think can aid the student with interpretation.
