Alfred's Basic Piano Course Lesson Book, Bk 6 (Alfred's Basic Piano Library) ReviewI'm 11 years old, been playing piano for 6 years and I found this book to be a little easy for the level. Before, I had used the piano adventures series which ends at level 5, so I switched to these. Most of the pieces are actually about a level 5, so I always passed them with one week of practice. What's good about this book is that it clearly explains every concept and has a piece that goes along with the concept. If you have a choice though, I think you should skip level 6 and go straight on to play piano pieces.
Some things that this book focuses on are triads (augmented and diminished), chords, different kinds of rhythems, and the keys of D minor, F# minor, E major, C# minor, and A flat major.
